Ottawa, Ontario — 2026
iQ LOOP has submitted an Expression of Interest to the Future Fuels Challenge, a federal program supporting next-generation fuel and energy storage technologies, as part of a consortium spanning mining, transportation, fuel-cell, and industrial partners across Ontario. The company is also pursuing support through the Industrial Transformation Challenge, which funds industrial decarbonisation projects.

Both applications position iQ LOOP's Canadian pilots as consortium-anchored projects — Ottawa-based, but designed to generate evidence and partnerships that support replication across other Canadian markets. Securing either program would accelerate the build-out of iQ LOOP's Americas platform and strengthen the case for scaling beyond the initial Kanata deployment.
