Energy as a Delivery Problem — and Energy Moved as Material

The energy transition is usually framed as a generation challenge: build more wind, more solar, more clean capacity. But generation is increasingly the part that works. Renewable electricity is abundant — it is simply produced at the wrong time, in the wrong place, or behind grid constraints that take years to relieve. The real problem is delivery.



Today, the only ways to move energy are to push electrons through congested networks or to transport compressed hydrogen and fossil fuels, each with its own cost, risk, and logistical burden. iQ LOOP takes a different route. Instead of moving energy as electricity or pressurised gas, iQ LOOP changes its form entirely and moves it as a solid. Renewable power is stored inside aluminium, transported through existing logistics as stackable, recyclable FuelRods, and released on site as heat, power, and hydrogen.


This is what we mean by moving energy like a material. Energy becomes inventory — something that can be produced when electricity is cheap, stored without degradation, shipped on a truck, and dispatched precisely when a site needs it. A defining feature follows directly: aluminium moves, hydrogen does not. Hydrogen is produced on demand, at the point of use, removing the hardest and most expensive part of the hydrogen economy.
